What is
Crow's
Nest?

Crow's Nest is a judgement-free service that works with people to help them feel less overwhelmed by physical and virtual clutter. Everyone is welcome, and we specialize in working with clients who've struggled for years or even their whole lives to stay organized.

If that describes you, you're not lazy. You're usually working twice as hard to stay on top of things and have tried over and over again to make lasting changes. Long-term disorganizing often happens because of unmet access needs.

Working with a professional organizer who specializes in this area can help give you accountability, focus, and organizing systems that are specific to your situation.

I got into this work because I love working with people like me. In the ten years I was a librarian, I’d made a career out of organizing other people's things, but I was hiding the mess I had at home.

I had too much stuff, not enough storage, and I never really got unpacked between moves. And there were a lot of moves. I didn't like it, but I was so overwhelmed all the time that living that way felt inevitable. I was a major brain injury survivor with depression, anxiety, and chronic illness. I eventually realized I had ADHD and was autistic.

I deserved more help then and you deserve more help now.

I live on the traditional and unceded land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and also operate on the land of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. If you're Black, Indigenous, or Afro-Indigenous, I keep back some hours every month to work for free with your communities. Ask me about them!

Crow's Nest is queer, trans, kink, non-monogamy, and sex worker friendly.
